Shasta County Public Law Library

Service Policy: The Library is open to members of the public, however they must pay a user fee to check out items. The Library provides two-day checkout for circulating volumes for a $25.00 deposit, and returns the deposit when the volume(s) is returned. Photocopies are 15 cents per side - paid for individually - or the user may set up an account. There is no charge to use materials in the Library. Service is free to members of the bar. There are also six public access computers with specialized legal software such as Dissomaster, a program used to determine Child and Spousal Support payments, WestLaw, and CEB Onlaw.
